So, let me ask you: Would you like to take a deeper dive into the skills of coaching? Maybe you’ve been coaching for a while and would like to hone your skills. Or perhaps you’re new to coaching and would like tips to expedite integrating skills into your practice.
We hostedNBC-HWC Leila Finn, a new author in the health coaching skills field. Leila co-developed the Emory Health Coach Training program and was their lead instructor. Also, having been a trainer in the Georgetown University Health Coach program and a mentor in the program at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, Leila’s vast experience led her to documenting tips and case studies to help us be better coaches. She will be sharing tips from her new book Health Coaching Tips and Case Studies, To Improve Your Coaching. That’s part one of our next session!
Have you had a book percolating in your awareness? Is there a topic you feel passionate about and that you’d like to share with the world? Maybe there is a project that you’ve wanted to push over the finish line, but you haven’t yet entered the race.
Leila had a vision about sharing her experience and, using the time inside the last year, brought that vision to reality. Learn how she did it, what motivated her and what obstacles she overcame to go from start to finish. You’ll leave the HWC Connections Call with the opportunity to:
-Compare the four MI processes with the process of coaching
-Re-introduce yourself to the “integrative” in integrative health coaching
-Build motivation for your own, self-driven projects
This program qualifies for 1.0 ICHWC CE Credit. A Certificate can be obtained in the resources center for $10 after purchasing the training, completing it, and submitting the evaluation.
